Macsmics is a fast, automated system for incubating Campylobacter specimens and/or other microaerophilic ans anaerophilic organisms.

One simple press of the start button initiates the sequence of evacuation and gas replacement in the jar. 2 cycles are possible : anaerobic cycle and micro-aerophilic cycle.

 

An LCD shows the user the point in the cycle that the jar has reached and will indicate if there is a problem, e.g. a leaking jar. The sequence is automatically aborted should a problem occur. Compact and safe, the unit creates the correct atmosphere in seconds compared to the hour needed using gas generating envelopes, at around 1% of the cost. You are culturing samples using best practice and eliminating the need to stock bulky consumables.
